We are pleased to announce this years winners,who each receive a bursary of £500.
Mateo Ridley,aged 11 years,a pupil at Hexham Middle School who is a gifted squash player.
Sasha Mychailichenko,aged 11 years, a pupil at Corbridge Middle School who is a gifted violinist.
Jack Liddles,aged 11 years,a member of Prudhoe Youth project and a pupil at Highfield Middle school,who is a talented self-taught pianist.
James Little,aged 16 years,a pupil at Queen Elizabeth High School, Hexham. Jack is a Paddler and currently ranked UK number 1 in the 15/16 years category
A formal presentation event is being planned to which the winners,their family, friends and supporters will be invited.

£2,000 to Hexham Together for Ukrainian Refuges and Tynedale Hospice Furniture Shop.To help any refugee being found accomodation locally to get furniture and other household items.
£1,500 to Core Music to expand their musical instrument repair and refurbishment programme,thus helping in their mission ” Making Music Accessible to All”
£258 to Stocksfield Cricket Club. £326 to Hexham Scouts. £322 to Hexham Guides

Each charity received received £7,000 thanks to the generosity of all the people who made the Tynedale beer festival such a success this year.

Welcome to Michael and Jill from Texas who have now moved to Tynedale. Michael is originally from San Francisco and Jill from South Yorkshire. Their mother Club is The Lions Club of Fulshear/Simonton.
We wish them many happy years in their new home and with Tynedale Lions.

We were very pleased that Hewson Court,the new developement by McCarthy Stone,have taken advantage of the Lions Clubs Message in a Bottle.
Paramedics,police,firefighters and social services support this Lions life-saving initiative and know to look in the fridge when they see the MIAB stickers,supplied. The initiative provides peace of mindthat prompt and appropriate medical assistance can be provided and next of kin/emergency contacts can be notified.
Members of the public and other organisations can ontain a MIAB kit, free from our Club
